Carrot, Apple, Pear and Apricot

  • This combination was a winner with all Cheryl’s children. Sweet and delightful and smells divine. Babies will love this and parents can be happy knowing this recipe contains many essential vitamins and minerals.

  • 1 medium sized carrot
  • 1 ripe pear
  • 1 good sized apple
  • 6 ready to eat dried apricots
  • 150ml (5 ounces) of baby’s regular milk
  • 4-6 tbsp water (add as required – more too make a smoother texture, less to make a lumpier texture).
    1. Peel and core apple and pear then chop into small chunks.
    2. Put the fruit into a saucepan together with the water.
    3. Cover and cook for approx 6-8 minutes until tender.
    4. Add the milk if required and then the apricots and mash together.
    5. Put in a blender to create a smooth texture that works for baby.
